Contesting a will in Texas

We Handle Cases All Across Texas

Our principle office is located in Lantana, Texas in the DFW area. We handle cases anywhere in Texas from South Texas to deep East Texas to Northwest Texas near the Oklahoma border and in between.

All cases in Texas are filed by the efile system, electronically. In the old days, an attorney would have to hand deliver a filing to the clerk or send it by mail, FedEx, or, UPS. With the advent of efiling, everything is filed electronically and instantaneously.

Hearings used to be conducted in the county where the suit was filed. In my career, I have had to travel 250 miles for a 20 minute hearing. Not any more. Because of the Covid-19 problems, more and more judges are using Zoom or something similar to conduct hearings. Even mediations are being conducted remotely.

Of course, trials will still be conducted in the county where the probate is filed but everything else is done through the efile system.

Zoom type workshops?

In the age of Covid-19. we have been thinking of having monthly or bi-monthly, free, Zoom type workshops where participants discuss with us issues that are of interest to them. There would be no agenda, we would discuss areas that the participants wanted to discuss. Participants could attend by computer, tablet or smartphone.

This would be a public Zoom type meeting so nothing personal or confidential should be discussed. Just general questions. Personal or confidential questions should be asked by using the Contact Us tab above.

If you think we should start having these workshops, please leave your email so we can notify you?

We will notify you if we decide there is interest in the workshops. Thanks for letting us know.
